The Korean American Semiconductor Professional Alliance (KASPA) was founded to create a dynamic and supportive community for Korean American professionals, businesses and engineering students within the semiconductor industry. Organizations provide a hub that allows individuals to connect, share knowledge, innovate and grow professionally.
Kaspa was founded to address the need for a platform that promotes knowledge sharing, career development and networking within the semiconductor industry. It empowers emerging engineers and professionals, helps them advance their careers and contributes to the broader growth of the semiconductor sector. Founders, staff and volunteers often work tirelessly, on the evenings and weekends, building and nurture kaspa communities and demonstrating their organization’s commitment to mission and vision.
Kaspa’s mission is to build a vibrant, inclusive community where members can work together, innovate and grow. The Alliance promotes knowledge sharing, career development and networking by providing access to valuable resources, industry insights, and a strong network of like-minded professionals. Through these efforts, Kaspa is supporting the continued progress of the semiconductor industry, contributing to both individual careers and the growth of the broader industry.
Kaspa is envisioned to be a major platform for Korean-American experts in the semiconductor industry, promoting collective success through collaboration, education and innovation. The organization aims to bridge the cultural and technical gaps, ensuring its members have the tools and connections they need to thrive in the rapidly evolving global market. Additionally, Kaspa is hoping to inspire the next generation of engineers and leaders to advance the careers of its members while shaping the future of the semiconductor industry.
Working with national efforts like The Chips for America Initiative, Kaspa is committed to supporting the growth of America’s semiconductors and promoting global leadership in chip manufacturing. By leveraging a network of talented professionals, businesses and academic institutions, Kaspa can play a key role in driving innovation, developing cutting-edge technology, and strengthening the American semiconductor workforce. The Alliance’s focus on collaboration and education, in line with America’s chip goals, will increase domestic semiconductor manufacturing capabilities and ensure that the US remains at the forefront of technological innovation.
Kaspa’s efforts will directly contribute to the advancement of American semiconductors, helping to develop a highly skilled workforce and support policies that promote the sustainable growth of the industry. Through these initiatives, Kaspa is working to ensure a robust future for both the semiconductor sector and the role of America in the global market.
