The University Library hosts “Code, Collage and Criticism: The Exploration of Creativity and Control in the Age of AI” on Wednesday, February 26th at the Carlson Library Main Event Space.
Scheduled as part of the Carlson Conversation Lecture Series, the event will begin at 3pm and will feature Dr. Ashley Pryor, a professor of humanities. Dr. John Sarnecki, associate professor of philosophy and chairman of the Faculty of Philosophy and Religion. Dr. Ammon Allred, professor of philosophy and religion studies.
Their argument explores complex technical, political and ethical considerations regarding AI, including the relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence.
The lecture “Code, Collage, Criticism: The Exploration of Creativity and Control in the Age of AI” is being held at the North Gallery at the ongoing Digital Imagination: AI Artistry Unlead exhibition.
