A veteran legal and intellectual property expert, Rachel Lovejoy has built an impressive career advising technology companies, from early stage startups to global companies. Lovejoy is currently a senior advisor and chief IP counsel at SpaceX, leading intellectual property strategies, global portfolio management, and complex technical transactions such as satellite communications and microchip development. His previous leadership role at IBM and top law firms brings Lovejoy’s expertise in regulatory compliance, government contracts and commercialisation, making him a valuable addition to the strategic leadership of Apogie Semiconductors. A veteran aerospace executive and investor, Dr. Marco Villa brings over 25 years of experience in engineering, operations and commercial space ventures. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief revenue officer for Terran Orbital, where he played a pivotal role in securing multi-billion dollar satellite contracts and global expansion initiatives. Dr. Villa was previously the Director of Mission Operations for SpaceX, leading the mission planning and execution of the Dragon Spaceship mission to the International Space Station. His deep expertise in satellite systems, business strategy and investments will support Apogee Semiconductor’s growth in the commercial and government aerospace markets.
