Burlington, Virginia (WCAX) -Kebec’s business wants Vermont’s new high -tech hub.
The authorities of the State Commerce Bureau have participated in the international agreement to strengthen what is called the “lively semiconductor industry” in Vermont.
Several Quebec’s organization and Vermont University have signed a contract to establish a corridor of the Northeast Semiconductor Manufacturing as a hub between innovation and advanced manufacturing.
The goal is to increase adjustments, promote trade, develop resilient supply chains, and position the region as global leaders.
The Ministry of Commerce states that semiconductors are the main exports of Vermont. In 2023, the industry sold a semiconductor worth $ 650 million to buyers around the world.
