Fox Business has confirmed that President Donald Trump will meet NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in the White House on Friday.
HUANG and TRUMP are expected to discuss artificial intelligence (AI) on the tips and power required to train AI models and semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
NVIDIA has appeared as a leader in the advanced chip market used for sophisticated AI model training, and has also developed AI chips for autonomous vehicles and general robot engineering.
The meeting between HUANG and TRUMP was held after the AI startup DEEPSEEK released an AI chatbot that had passed Openai’s Chatgpt at the Apple App Store. DeepSeek has argued that the chatbot was trained at 2,000 NVIDIA H800 GPUs at a cost of less than $ 6 million.
