Google Shopping has introduced new AI to help you choose the best products for your customers. The new Google Shopping (available to launch in the US) uses AI to take the guesswork out of finding the right products. For example, when researching a product, an AI-generated summary provides details about the most important things to know before making a purchase. Then, when you view the results, you’ll see an AI-generated summary of what you should consider before making a purchase, and which products are suitable (or not) for your needs. The Google Shopping homepage also includes a feed of recommended products, videos, and personalized deals pages to help you find the products you want at the best prices.
Search has received significant updates to its AI, expanding the types of questions users can ask. AI is already helping reimagine Google search, giving you new ways to ask questions like typing a query, searching with your camera, or humming a song. In October, we added more updates, including the ability to identify songs, buy what you watch, and search by video with Circle to Search. For example, an aquarium visitor can record fish by opening the lens in the Google app and asking aloud, “Why are they swimming with me?” while holding down the shutter button. — AI understands videos and generates AI summaries and helpful resources on the web.
