Apple’s big announcement: With slightly larger and slimmer bezels and new camera systems, these devices are designed to appeal to both consumer and professional users.
One goal, one product: A new tech startup co-founded by OpenAI’s former chief scientist Ilya Sutskever announced last week that it had raised $1 billion in cash to fund the development of safe artificial intelligence systems.

Mixed messages: Experts say the Kremlin may be incorporating artificial intelligence into its efforts to manipulate the November presidential election through influence programs.
No more housework: Chinese startup Astribot has officially unveiled its latest product, the S1 humanoid robot. In a video, it shows off its various domestic abilities: S1 makes waffles, feeds cats, serves tea and even plays basketball. This announcement comes after the robot was first shown in April, when only the upper body was revealed, leaving many curious to see its complete design.
