It’s been widely rumored that Nvidia will announce GeForce RTX 5080 specs in just a few weeks, and board partners have been preparing for the launch for some time. According to the latest rumors, the RTX 5080 will launch first, and the new RTX 5090 could arrive in stores at the end of January or even February 2025.
This particular leak shows the packaging for the Galax GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. This was first revealed in a post by Ruby_Rapids on X (formerly Twitter), and tech site Videocardz now claims to have verified it on Galax.
Frustratingly, the resolution of the starting image is so low that even when enlarged, the text is barely legible in its current format. Just read “Galax” and “GeForce RTX 5080” and that’s it. According to the latest rumors, the RTX 5080 will be similar to the RTX 4080 in terms of core specs, with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM and a 256-bit memory interface.
