The United States launches an investigation into alleged “anticompetitive and anti-market” measures used by China to support its semiconductor industry, just weeks before the Biden administration takes over from President-elect Donald Trump. did.
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative announced that it has opened an investigation into “China’s actions, policies, and practices aimed at gaining an advantage in the semiconductor industry.” The investigation will be conducted under Section 301 of the U.S. Trade Code.
