Nvidia RTX 5000 and 6000 GPUs submitted to EEC. While these filings from Chinese GPU brands are speculative in nature, they do suggest that the debut of the RTX 5000 series is near.
Nvidia’s RTX 5000 GPU has been spotted in a trademark filing along with the RTX 6000 model, and it’s truly ahead of the game.
VideoCardz has noticed that leaker Harukaze5719 has posted details of a trademark registration for Nvidia graphics cards filed with the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) by Sinotex, the owner of the Ninja GPU brand in China, on X.
RTX 60, RTX 50, RTX 40… It’s just a trademark registration https://t.co/stNKemJcyK pic.twitter.com/w2VUJiix36 November 7, 2024
These filings are typically made right before the release of a new hardware product, and as the RTX 6000 model clearly demonstrates, they are speculative in nature. Of course, these GPUs mentioned at this stage are completely implicit.
The RTX 5090 Ti and RTX 5090 Super are also mentioned here, and in fact, the numerous Super and Ti options in the Blackwell series are all listed. The same applies to the RTX 6000 model in the filing. This just covers the basics regarding the up-and-coming graphics cards that Sinotex may need to manufacture.
Analysis: The seasoning is heavy here – but there are also hints of hope.
So why is this worth talking about? Well, we should be seasoned, but first, ignore the mention of the RTX 6000 GPU. We don’t even know yet whether the next generation of Nvidia’s next-generation Blackwell GPUs will be the RTX 6000 or something else. Or maybe Nvidia won’t even make GeForce graphics cards in 2027. Maybe AI will completely displace gaming GPUs. Team Green’s sideline at that point.
But the fact that the Chinese GPU maker is moving to register an RTX 5000 model is a major hint that it’s on track for a purported Blackwell graphics card announcement at CES 2025 ( And the company has launched a ton of products) including filing for the RTX 6000 at the same time).
As for the hints that mean Nvidia will include an RTX 5090 Super or Ti version, you won’t read any mention of those GPUs here. As mentioned earlier, this appears to be a broad, all-encompassing move by Sinotex to cover all its bases. .
It is expected that Nvidia will announce RTX 5090, 5080, and possibly 5070 desktop graphics cards at CES 2025, and potentially launch Blackwell mobile GPUs for gaming laptops alongside these GPUs. Perhaps this new leak could be another hint that we may get an earlier revelation from Team Green, towards the end of 2024, as recent rumors have suggested. However, this may just be a teaser.
