MACOM Technology Solutions acquired Texas-based fabless semiconductor company ENGIN-IC. The Lowell, Mass.-based semiconductor products supplier said Wednesday that the acquisition Support efforts to increase market share.

This cash on hand transaction is not expected to have a material impact on MACOM’s near-term financial performance.
